The mini base plate, cutting plate and embossing plate are required for the Vaessen Creative Cut Easy Mini (2137-035). This handy machine cuts effortlessly through various craft materials, from paper to thin foam. Besides cutting, you can also use the Cut Easy mini to create a beautiful 3D effect with embossing folders. Secure the Cut Easy mini to a flat surface by pushing the little pink lever downwards – so you can be sure that the cutting and embossing machine is stable before you start.

For both cutting and embossing, start with the base plate as the bottom of the stack. Next comes the cutting plate or embossing plate. Then place your material on the plate with a cutting die on top, or slide the paper between an embossing folder and place it on the plate. If you are using a cutting die that you can also emboss with, we recommend using the silicone mat as the second layer in the stack. Once ready, place the complete stack (or sandwich) in the Cut Easy Mini and turn the handle to roll it through the machine.
